​​At/on/in (Time)

A. Compare ​at, ​on, and ​in:
She arrived ​at 8:30.
She arrived ​on Tuesday.
She arrived ​in October./ She arrived ​in 2015.

​at은 하루 중 시간에 사용:
​at 5:00/ ​at 11:45/ at midnight/ at lunchtime/ at sunset, etc.

​on은 요일과 날짜에 사용:
​on Friday/ on Fridays/ on October 10, 2016/ on Christmas day/ on mu birthday
also ​on the weekend, ​on weekends

​in은 더 긴 기간들에 사용(​for example, months/ years/ seasons):
​in January/ in 1995/ in the 18th century/ in the past/ in (the) winter/ in the 1990s/ in the Middle Ages/ in the future

B. 이러한 표현들에 ​at 사용:
​at night
He like going out with friends ​at night.
​at Christmas
She doesn't want to have a date ​at Christmas.
​at this time/ at the moment
Sofia is busy ​at this time/ at the moment.
​at the same time
Sofia and I arrived ​at the same time.

C. We say:
​in the morning(s)
in the afternoon(s)
in the evening(s)

but
​on Friday morning(s)
on Sunday afternoon(s)
on Monday evening(s)
, etc.

I'll see you ​in the morning.
I'll see you ​on Friday evening.
Do you study ​in the evenings?
Do you work ​on Saturday afternoons?

D. ​last/ next/ this/ every 전에 ​at/ on/ in을 사용하지 않는다:
I'll see you ​next Friday. (not on next Friday)
They got married ​last May.

In spoken English, we often leave out ​on before days (​Monday) and dates (​October 10, etc.).
구어에서는 요일과 날짜 앞에 ​on 생략하기도 함.

I'll see you ​on Friday. or I'll see you ​Friday.
She works ​on Saturday afternoons. or She works ​Saturday afternoons.
They got married ​on May 12. or They got married ​May 12.

E. ​In a few minutes/ in six months, etc.
The bus will be leaving ​in a few minutes. (= a few minutes from now)
Ace had left Daegu. He'll be back ​in a week. (= a week from now)
She'll be here ​in a moment. (= a moment from now)

"in six month's ​time," "in a week's ​time," 등으로도 말할 수 있다:
They're getting married ​in six month's time. or ... ​in six months​.

뭔가를 하는데 얼마나 걸리는지 말하기 위해 ​in...도 사용한다:
I learned to drive ​in four weeks. (= it took me four weeks to learn)
