Clauses with and without who/that/which

A. 관계사절의 주어로 사용될 때 who/that/which 꼭 써야함.

The man lives next door is a professor.
Where is the ice cream was in the refrigerator?
위 두 문장처럼 말할 수 없음.(who, that 필요- UNIT90참고)

B. who/that/which가 동사의 목적어로 사용되는 경우도 있음.

The woman who I wanted to see was in my school.
I wanted to see the woman.
who= the woman= object. I is the subject.

Have you found the cellphone that you lost?
You lost the cellphone.
that= the cellphone= object. You is the subject.

who/that/which가 목적어 일 경우 생략가능

The woman I wanted to see was in my school.
Have you found the cellphone you lost?
The shoes sofia bought hurt her feet.
Is there anything I can help you?

the keys you lost(not the keys you lost them)
the dress Ann bought(not the dress Ann bought it)

C. 관계사절에서의 전치사 위치(in/to/for, etc.)
Sofia is talking to a woman - do you know her?
-> Do you know the woman (who/that) Sofia is talking to?

I slept in a car last night - it wasn't very comfortable
-> The car(that/which) I slept in last night wasn't very comfortable.

Are these the snacks you were looking for?
or the snacks that/which you were...

The woman he fell in love with asked him to marry her.
or The woman who/that he...

D. what은 이와 같이 사용할 수 없음.
Everything (that) you said was true.
(not Everything what you said)
I gave her all my love (that) I had.
(not all my love what I had)
