언제 뭔가가 일어났는지 말하기 위해 during+ noun 사용(not how long):

시간 단어들(for example: the morning/ the afternoon/ the summer)과 주로 in or during을 함께 쓴다:
It must have rained in the early in the morning. (or during the morning)
I'll call you sometime during the night. (or in the night)

얼마나 오래 지속되고 있는지 말할 때 during 사용 불가:

duringfor의 비교:

B. During and while

We use during + noun:
I fell asleep during the lecture.
We ate a lot of delicious food during our vacation.

We use while + subject + verb:
I fell asleep while I watching TV.

while의 다른 예:

미래에 대해 말하고 있을 때는 while 다음에 현재시재가 사용된다(not will):
I'll be in Seoul this weekend. I hope to see Sofia while I'm there. (not while I will be there)
What are you going to do while you are waiting? (not while you will be waiting)
